PROF. DR. GREGÓRIO C. FARIA

Professor Gregório Faria received his degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo (Brazil) in 2006. He received M.S. degree in applied physics in 2008, from University of Sao Paulo, and Ph.D. (2011) from Technische Universität Darmstadt and University of Sao Paulo (Dual Diploma Agreement). He spent 3 years at Stanford University as a postdoc in the Material Science & Engineering Department. Since 2013 he has held a position as assistant professor at University of Sao Paulo.

DR. GUSTAVO G. DALKIRANIS

Gustavo received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Physics from Federal University of Uberlandia in 2011 and 2013, respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physics (2019) at Autonomous University of Barcelona (Cum Laude). Since 2020 he holds a position as postdoctoral researcher at University of Sao Paulo. During 2022, he was as visiting postdoctoral researcher in the Nanobioelectronics and Biosensors Group at Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. His research interests include developing thermoelectric devices, generators and sensors, and measuring systems to characterize optically and thermoelectrically organic and inorganic thin films. Outside of the lab, Gustavo enjoys watching series and soccer
matches, cooking, playing CS2 and exploring the city with his wife and son.

DR. GERMÁN D. G. HIGUITA

Germán received his bachelor degree in Materials Engineering in 2015, from University of Antioquia, his M.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering in 2017, from Federal University of São Carlos and his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering in 2023, from University of São Paulo. Currently, he is a Post-Doc in the Materials Engineering Department at University of São Paulo, working with synthesis, customization and characterization of PEDOT:PSS inks. In his free time, he enjoys running, watching TV and drinking coffee and beer.

DR. DIEGO F. S. SOUSA

Diego received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Physics from Federal University of Uberlandia in 2014 and 2016, respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physics (2021) at Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). Currently, he is Post- Doc in São Carlos Institute Physics at University of São Paulo, working with degradation of organic solar cells. Outside of the lab, Diego enjoys watching TV series, chatting with friends and family, dancing, cooking, riding a bike, stretching his body and working out.

DRA. BIANCA DE A. FEITOSA

Bianca received her bachelor’s (2017), her M. S. (2019) degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Federal University of Amazonas (Brazil), and her Ph.D. at the Materials Science and Engineering at University of São Paulo. She works on fundamentals of organic mixed ionic-electronic conductors. Her hobbies include watching movies and TV series, running, powerlifting and reading books.

DR. RAFAEL F. S. DE SOUZA
Rafael received his bachelor’s degree in Biomolecular Physics from the University of São Paulo (Brazil) in 2017. He received his M.S degree in applied physics in 2020 from University of São Paulo. He is currently working on his Ph.D at University of São Paulo, studying and developing physical reservoir computing devices using (semi)conducting polymers. In his spare time, Rafael works as the BBQ Chief Executive Officer in the i-mat group.

MARCOS LUGINIESKI

Marcos received his degree in Physics from the Federal University of Paraná (Brazil) in 2019 and received his M.S. degree in Physics from the Federal University of Technology - Paraná in 2022. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student in the São Carlos Institute of Physics from the University of São Paulo, working with improvements and understanding of charge transport of Organic Electrochemical Transistors. His hobbies include climbing, hiking, running, and cooking.

JOÃO H. BOCCHI

Joao received his degree in Physics from the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro (Brazil) in 2019, and his M.S. degree in physics in 2023 from University of São Paulo. He is currently a Ph.D. student in the area of molecular biophysics at the University of São Paulo. His research interests include charge transport phenomena in conjugated polymers and development of thermoelectric devices. In his free time, he enjoys physical activities, traveling and chatting with friends.

YOSTHYN M. A. FLOREZ

Yosthyn received his degree in Physics from University of the Atlantic (Colombia) in 2021, and his M.S. degree in physics in 2023 from University of São Paulo. Intern at the Federal University of Santa Catarina during the first semester 2021. He has experience in the area of condensed matter, specifically in photoluminescent thin films, PV photovoltaic device, materials synthesis, optical characterization and thermal analysis. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student in theoretical and experimental physics at the Institute of Physics of São Carlos, University of São Paulo. His hobbies include running, gym, play soccer, and listens to music.

SARA L. GUSSO

Sara Luiza Gusso received her degree in Physics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (Brazil) in 2018 and her M.S. degree in Physics from the Federal University of Technology - Paraná in 2021. She also has two years of experience as a high school teacher. Currently, she is a Ph.D. student at the Engineering School of São Carlos from the University of São Paulo, where she works on semiconductor hydrogels, with a focus on their self-healing processes. Her hobbies include playing video and board games, reading, and hiking.

JOÃO VITOR DE LIMA-OLIVEIRA

Cauan received his technician degree in Electronics in 2021, from the Federal Institute of São Paulo, currently, he is a undergraduate in University of São Paulo and is persuing a bachelor's degree in chemistry. Also, he is currently working in a undergraduate research in University of São Paulo, studying the synthesis, customization and characterization of PEDOT:PSS inks. In his free time, he enjoys playing capoeira, reading books and playing tabletop games.
